(Yet Another) Code Journey

This marks my 5th or 6th foray with programming: Learned (and forgot) HTML in 2010, Java in 2016, HTML again in 2017, 2018, Python in 2019. My journey has been quite erratic due to various factors; studying law doesn't give you much time for anything else, Law School in 2016/2017 tried hard to take my life, and working as a lawyer isn't much better.

Still, I invariably keep getting drawn to code, I've always been fascinated with the workings of things. My inability to stick to learning code has had its effect on me; each time I start again, I'm reminded of my past failed ventures.

I'm certainly more confident this time, as I've learned that my learning style requires a hands-on approach, with a mentor breathing down my neck. I'm hoping this time, I see it through, with the capable facilitators at HNG breathing down my neck.

I come here with a dusting of some past knowledge of python, Java and HTML. I hope this would make the early stages of the learning process a breeze.

I hope to solidify my grip on HTML and finally learn CSS, with a view to continuing with Java Script from there. Android development isn't a bad way to go as well, I hope my rudimentary knowledge of Java comes in handy.

It's a bit early to dish cricitism as I'm not yet very familiar with the learning process. I guess we'll see?

Here's to (yet another) code journey. Fruitful this time, I hope.
