“LEARNING IS NOT ATTAINED BY CHANCE, IT MUST BE SOUGHT FOR WITH ARDOR AND ATTENDED TO WITH DILIGENCE.” ―ABIGAIL ADAMS

The worst disservice I can do to myself is to assume, that I know everything or make myself not teachable. For me, thus far, StartNg Pre-Internship has been a learning process, an eye-opener. My mind, eyes are opened to different opportunities and possibilities that lie ahead if I focus and put in the work.

My observation level has heightened. I have always been an observant person, I study a thing before leaping. I have learnt to be extra cautious, read and follow instructions to a tee, stay calm amid chaos. Through this process, I have also learnt to use Slack.

Different incidents brought in its wake a new lesson. The #game channel, for instance, taught me to look beneath the surface, to not assume and always take a moment to study a task before facing it head-on. I learnt from the mentors, that with hard work, patience, attention to details, following rules and regulation, consistency, networking etc I can achieve that which I am on the path to become.

I am taking all these lessons and running with them. I hope to keep learning and evolving, learn all there is to make me outstanding in my field. So far, it has been a smooth experience. But if anything changes and I feel like there should be an improvement, I will surely drop suggestions here.
